Glassware - what are the main aspects to take into consideration while selecting a range for your outlet?

1. Goes with the menu

2. Goes with the decor/other tableware

3. Long term availability

4. Breakage

5. Price

Is it the same order of importance that you follow? One of the major issues we have seen faced by hoteliers is availability of the same glassware after 3-5 years - possibly at project start stage a whole lot had been picked up from different sources which did not confirm to the long term availability - this leads to a huge cost of replacement and possibly shortages .
